Out Like a Lamb
This has certainly been a changeable March. So many
have been seeking one single sign of Spring.
While others have been experiencing early
Spring/Summer-like weather.
There have been snow storms, thunderstorms,
and tornados in unusual places.
I was wondering how March is leaving your area.
Today we have a cloudy-overcast day
with chances of some rain - perhaps
thunderstorms.
Is it just a rhyme? Or is there any basis
to the saying, March - 'in like a lion - out like a lamb'
I think for those experiencing extreme weather - they'd
love it to be true.
God's word teaches us that,
"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
This is very dependable - because of God we have hope and an assurance - that all things will work out for the good.
Other March related lore include:
'A dry March and a wet May? Fill barns and bays with corn and hay".
As it rains in March so it rains in June. (I'll look out for that one to see if it be true!)
March winds and April showers - bring forth May flowers.
We do know one thing - Spring is coming!
And for this we can rejoice!
