Blustery Outside

Inside
It has been quite overcast and windy today. We have had occasional rains, of which I am most grateful for. The rain and the wind have caused the leaves to rain down as well creating a patchwork quilt in our garden.
I have been under the weather these past couple of days. So, while taking it easy today, reading my Victorias and watching old movies I have been sipping fragrant cups of herbal tea. At the moment I am drinking a Green Tea – with Lotus flowers. So light and floral. Quite soothing.
I try not to mind these days – I am thankful that for the most part I am quite healthy…but each of us have those days when we must rest and restore.
I can’t think of anything better than to enjoy a lovely cup of tea.
