Most admired - Am meisten bewundert...succulents (sempervivum)

Every year I visit Canada Blooms to get ideas, to be inspired and learn about the newest trend in gardening.  This year my goal is to create new living wreath and arrangements with
Hens and Chicks (succulents, sempervivum) as seen in my collage.
The origin of succulents can be traced back to the early 17th century:
from Latin succulentus, from succus 'juice'.
and Sempervivum, family Crassulaceae:
originates from modern Latin, from Latin semper 'always' + vivus 'living'
