from Newfoundland to British Columbia, south to Alabama and New Mexico;
naturalized Washington to California.
Daisy like flowers of golden yellow with striking button eyes.
A care-free, super hardy perennial that is heat, drought, insect and disease resistant.
Rudbeckia: it is named in honour of the Swedish scientist Olof Rudbeck the Younger. Named by whom? Rudbeck's pupil, Linnaeus.
